|Tomato sauce from tomato paradise|red onion carrots parsley basil|500g san marzano tomatoes peeled deseed and chopped1 red onion finely chopped2 cloves of garlic crushed1 celery stalk finely chopped1 carrot finely chopped4 tablespoon olive oil2 tablespoon flat leaf parsley finely chopped2 tablespoon basil chopped|Heat 3 tablespoons of the olive oil in a large pan. Add the onion celery carrot garlic and parsley saute over a low heat till very soft (20 to 30 mins). Stir from time to time to prevent catching.Add the chopped tomatoes stir well and simmer for 45 mins till the tomatoes have broken down and a thick sauce has formed. Stir in the basil the last tablespoon of olive oil and season to taste with salt and pepper.Push through a sieve or moulin legume if a smooth sauce is required.|30.00 minutes|1|/boxmaster
