Delicious warm straight out of the oven!||250g wholemeal flour100g plain flour50g coarse oatmeal1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda1 teaspoon sugar1 egg300ml buttermilk|Preheat the oven to 190 degrees cup and lightly flour a baking tray.Crack the egg into a big mixing bowl. Add the buttermilk and a pinch of salt (1/2 teaspoon) and whiskAdd the flour mix and stir together with a spoon. Once it starts to come together use your (clean) hands to pat and bring the dough together.Shape the dough into a round ball place on your baking tray and flatten to a disk 6 to 7cm thick.
