|Beet and Caramelised Onion Tart|beetroot carrots|175g wholemeal flour100g porridge oats100g butter100g carrots grated3 onions sliced3 beetroots peeled and grated3 eggs250 ml milk|Preheat oven to 180C. In a food processor pulse flour oats and butter until crumb-like. Add carrot and process until mixture comes together to form a ball. Roll out pastry and line a metal 25cm pizza dish or shallow tart case and chill.Cook onions in oil until beginning to caramelise (15-20 minutes). Place beetroot in pastry case and cover with onions. Whisk eggs and milk and season. Pour over onions and beetroot. Bake for 15 minutes then lower to 160C and bake for a further 40 minutes or until set and golden|20.00 minutes|6|BBC Good Food
