Meet Fingal's

Chris Elder and his daughter, Sophie, are the dynamic team behind Fingal's Bakery. Chris comes from a large family of food lovers and began working in food development many years ago after spotting a need for good quality, organic, local produce, long before it became trendy. Bread has always been his personal passion and opening the bakery in 2020 in Maze Hill was the realisation of a long-held dream. At the heart of the family operation is the production of astounding breads, freshly baked on site, using only the finest organic flours, milled in traditional ways. Sourdoughs, soda breads, superb scones, soft & crispy pretzels and gluten-free fare come fresh out of their oven every day. Fingal's bread will be as fresh as it can possibly be when it arrives to you. Their beautifully crafted loaves are made fresh every day by expert bakers just a short stroll away from Greenwich Park. This father and daughter business duo agree - you can't go wrong with a delicious piece of bread, whether it's covered in hummus, dunked in soup or simply served with a little butter!
